Miami for Art Basel. I’m planning a trip to Denmark to run the Copenhagen Marathon in a few months.

Where on earth has most surprised you?

Montana’s Glacier National Park is one of the most beautiful places I have been in a long time.

Where could you return to again and again?

Solomon’s Island, MD—a charming beach town 90 min outside of DC.

When and where were you the happiest?

The moment I finished my last intense design class of my undergrad career, I felt completely free—no deadlines, no responsibilities. All I wanted to do was fly a kite on the beach. So, I did.

visiting from out of town?

The Hirshhorn.

Where is your favorite place to work?

A great hotel bar.

What do you consider the lowest depth of misery when you go out for dinner or drinks?

Singing ‘Happy Birthday’ to the stranger’s table next to me.

Designer salt.

AI generated creative.

Watches.

What would you be doing if you weren’t doing your current job?

Architect.

Bologna. Or somewhere deep in the Colorado mountains, completely off the grid.

Most: Fast walkers. Least: No global entry or lounge access.

Tact.

My instinct for improvisation.

Uncomfortable design-forward chairs (that I will never give up!).

I love the art and food culture of DC but deplore the political noise.
