Housed in a landmarked building in New York City’s Theater District, the Paramount is a hotel rich in history.Since the ‘40s, when Billy Rose, the hallowed New York showman, trotted out 6-foot-tall showgirls for Broadway divas and Hollywood stars, through the ‘80s, when the hotel was host to Andy Warhol’s memorial luncheon, right up until the present, the Paramount has been host to an array of celebrities, wild parties and important events. In 1986, the Paramount was bought by Hotelier Ian Schrager and entrepreneur Steve Rubell and outfitted by French designer Philippe Starck. In 2007, after it was acquired by Highgate hotels, Revolver New York was asked to design the brand identity (including the logo) and marketing materials for the Paramount. Revolver's rebranding encompassed everything from the hotel’s signature sent to the logo, full stationary collateral package, website re-skin, and all in-room materials. Despite changing hands, the new owner Aby Rosen has kept Revolver's logo.
